Coming home during some snow, I was thinking how great my 335xi was doing with its new snow tires, when I was reminded that snow tires can’t save you from other drivers.
The Pacifica T-boned the passenger side of the Impreza and pushed it into the traffic light, which knocked the lights for the whole intersection to flashing red. Everyone involved appeared to be OK physically though.

My safety concerns on any road generally have a lot more to do with what other drivers are doing than the condition of my own vehicle, yes.
